Ingles House!
A St. Clement's Outreach Project
Ingles House is part of Loft Community Services, providing a home for young
women with drug and alcohol abuse. The women are allowed to stay for a period
of up to a year to receive treatment, and then they can return to the regular
community. In order to assist them to have a fresh start in life, they are given
a basket of items for their new home. St. Margaret's Group of the ACW invites
you to assist by providing items for the baskets.
Ways in which you can help:
By making a monetary donation - Tax receipts will be Issued for amounts over
$10.00. Cheques should be made payable to "Loft Community Services" and designated
for Ingles House. Also available are response cards so that you can contribute
through Visa or Mastercard.
Or by supplying some of the following suggested articles:
Pantry items - soups, pastas, tea, canned tuna, Salmon, beans, flour, sugar,
spices, kraft dinner, Laundry Detergent, dish detergent, or other Cleaning supplies.
Kitchen - measuring cups, spoons, can opener, place Settings (knife, fork, spoon),
vegetable peeler, Cookie sheet, small casseroles, small pots, Coffee mugs, mixing
bowls, Ironing board, mop, Broom.
Appliances - small appliances, kettle, iron, electric Fry pan. Linens - tea
towels, napkins, place mats, blankets, Bed sheets (flat only), pillows, face
cloths. Miscellaneous - laundry basket, cloth bags for Groceries or laundry.
Your articles will be greatly appreciated and may be left at the church office.
