Pastoral Care
Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon son of John, do you love
me more than these?" He said to him, "Yes, Lord; you know
that I love you." Jesus said to him, "Feed my lambs." (John

Sunday Services
Our worship life at St Clement's Church is rich and full and is
centred around the Sunday celebration.
At 8 am there is a said celebration of the Holy Eucharist taken
from the Book of Common Prayer 1962. This is a quiet and meditative
liturgy with a brief homily and a great way for many to begin Sunday.

Liturgical Procession during
Easter liturgy
|
At 11.00 am there is a sung Eucharist with homily. This service
is the traditional language rite in the form and language of the
Book of Common Prayer 1962.
In addition, at every service at 9.15 and11.00 am, we offer the
ministry of anointing for healing, an ancient custom of the church
that has been revived over the past 100 years in the Anglican tradition.
Lay Anointers from the parish assist in this sacrament, though the
laying on of hands for healing is provided only by the Priest.
From time to time at 4:30 we have other services
such as an Advent Carol Service, A Service of Lessons and Carols
for Christmas, An Order for Evening Prayer on the Feast of the Presentation,
and A Service of Lessons and Carols for St Mary the Virgin, etc.
These occur as announced.

Youth Church
During the 9:15 and 11:00 service, we offer teenagers
in grades 7 and up a place to worship, discuss and explore with
Christians their own age. Our teachers start with something from
contemporary culture, such as a movie clip or a song, and then use
this to jump start discussions and creativity. Some of the topics
from last year were “If we are saved by grace then why do anything?”
and “How do we know what God thinks of us?”. We gather in the West
Transept at the beginning of the service, go to the Club Room for
our discussion, rejoining the service for Communion with the whole
community.
