Transforming Space For Faith » A Letter From The RectorDear Friends, There have been many significant moments in our parish history when members of St. Clement's have ventured to move, to build, to change or to enhance our church buildings and worship space in an effort to shape our facilities to serve the needs of our mission. We are in the midst of one of those moments right now. Having completed the refurbishment of our magnificent new worship space, we are now embarking on renovating the remainder of the building because improving the functionality of the building is critical to achieving our vision for ministry in this community. I therefore invite you to carefully read our campaign materials and prayerfully consider your gift toward the creation of a lasting legacy: a community church that is welcoming in both form and spirit, a people who are strong in faith and a building that nurtures and inspires us as we minister in the name of Jesus Christ. Many people have already pledged or donated to this great project. However, they are not the majority, so now is the time for you to get on board and participate in this significant moment in our history. The campaign goal is $2.5M and $1.9M has been already raised. I encourage you to contribute to this effort and therefore participate in reaching our goal. Through your generous gift you will honour and remember those who have gone before us, make this vibrant parish of St. Clement continually available to you and your family and leave a strong and faithful community for the generations who are yet to come. No gift is too small... or too large. You will be contacted by a fellow parishioner who will answer questions you may have about the project. And you will be given the opportunity to make your pledge over the phone. I therefore ask you to consider a sacrificial 3 to 5 year commitment to the Transforming Space for Faith Capital Campaign. This would be a "stretch", over and above your regular giving to the church. Please generously support the campaign, so that we may build on our traditions and usher in a new generation of dynamic Christians. Canon Cheryl C. Palmer ![]() |
