Bible Studies » The Good Book

God's word is like bread to our hearts;
we cannot live without it.
God's word is like rain that comes down upon the earth;
it brings fruit in our lives.

There are lots of different ways to explore the Bible. St Clement's has several:

On Tuesday afternoons from 1:30 till 3, a small group of about 15 folk gather over tea and cookies to study the readings from the upcoming Sunday, under the guidence of parishioner Deacon Anne Day. This group meets from September through the end of May.

On Thursday mornings after the 10am service there are Thursday Dialogues which include discussing Bible readings.

On Thursday evenings there's our Bible Study for Beginners. Led by David Montgomery, focussing on one reading from the upcoming Sunday lections. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal. We usually share a glass of wine with our conversation. The only pre-requisite for coming to this group is that you've never been to a Bible study before!
