Children » Children's Ministry

There is a solid team of talented and committed Sunday School teachers at St Clement's. We approach Sunday School with the goal of promoting creativity and community. We focus on equipping children to think creatively and openly, providing a fun and non-threatening environment for spiritual growth.

If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, please contact Lindsay Bradford-Ewart, the Children's Ministry Coordinator: children [at] stclements-church.org

9 am
At our 9am family service, we have Church School for kids in Grade 5 and under, but older children are welcomed to worship with their families. There is a new separate class for ages 3-5 as well! The 9 am service is in contemporary language and is accessible for teens and kids alike.

11 am
During the 11am service, there's Church School for Grades 5 and under. There's also a separate class for children ages 3-5, run by Margaret and Mrs. Wilson, who have been teaching Sunday School for 25 and 70 years!

Between Services
Between the 9 and 11am services (from 10:10 to 10:50, during the 40-Minute Forums and other events), we offer a program for kids, ages 7-17. This is like a one-room schoolhouse where children of all ages get to interact, play and model Christian behaviour for each other. The content of this program varies, from exploring outside in nature, to playing tag, creating crafts, and any number of community-building exercises. Younger children, babies and toddlers are welcomed to play with toys in the nursery, supervised by Kay.

Nursery
We also have our very own St Clement's Nursery run by a professional childcare worker, Kay Evangelista. The nursery provides care for children who are too young for Church School and quite frequently has adorable babies and toddling toddlers.
