Teens » Youth Ministry

Welcome to the St Clement's teen community! We're an open group of students from grades 6 through 12. From Youth Group to Teen Church, retreats to soup kitchens, we are always active, always working, and always looking to welcome new faces.

At St Clement's we work to create a place where all young people feel welcome and supported, regardless of their previous church experience.

We attempt to enagage young people where they're at, speaking to their experiences at school, at home, and around Toronto. We're a group that's always exploring new questions and new ideas. Our discussions on Sunday morning and throughout the week welcome a wide variety of opinions and ideas.

Why not drop by and meet us?

St Clement's Centre for Youth Ministry
We're excited to welcome our first two Youth Ministry Apprentices! Brendon Bedford and Matthew Carter both come to us with a great deal of Youth Ministry experience already. Each of them grew up in the Toronto Diocese, and were heavily involved in their parishes. They have both participated in Toronto Youth Synod, and other Diocesan events.  We couldn’t have asked for better-qualified apprentices.

Matthew is our Sunday morning apprentice.  He joins us for the in-between the services all ages program in the Club Room (during the Forums), Teen Church at 11 am, and Youth Group. Brendon takes over in the evening, joining Joanne and Jenny for confirmation class and surface. He is also becoming a driving force for our Wednesday high school program.

In the coming months, Brendon and Matthew will be engaged in a special project, producing a youth ministry film!
