In order to be married at St Clement's

• at least one of you has to be a baptized Christian
• at least one of you should be a member of the parish

Christian marriage is a lifelong commitment:

"a gift of God and a way of receiving God's blessing. In marriage, a couple gives themselves to each other, to care for each other in good times and in bad, and it creates a link to each other's family, It is a way of life that all should reverence, and none should lightly undertake."

We sincerely regret that we are not able to perform weddings for same gender couples at this time because of diocesan policy. Believing in the equality of all people in Christ, we will continue to advocate for a change to this policy.
